Laravel & PHP Development

Backend-heavy web applications, from the first line of code to running in production. No copy-paste stack — architecture that fits the actual problem.

The starting point

Most web projects don’t fail because of the idea, they fail in the execution: frameworks used the wrong way, data models that grow out of control, and after a few months every change becomes a risk. Anyone commissioning a Laravel project in Dresden or remotely is usually looking for the opposite — a codebase that still makes sense a year later.

How I approach it

  1. Initial call: roughly clarify requirements, data model, and integrations before a single line of code is written.

  2. Architecture first: design the domain model, database schema, and interfaces, then build iteratively.

  3. Operations considered from the start: tests, deployment pipeline, and monitoring are part of the build, not an afterthought.

What you get

  • A Laravel application that goes live documented and tested — not just working "on my machine".
  • A data model that survives real growth instead of needing a rewrite after the first change.
  • A deployment process that someone other than me can operate, in case the project later moves in-house.

Frequently asked questions

Before you ask.

Do you only work with Laravel, or other PHP frameworks too?
The focus is clearly on Laravel — that’s where most of the experience and most of the production references are. For existing projects on a different stack, I’ll honestly discuss in the initial call whether taking it over or rebuilding makes more sense.
Do you also take over existing Laravel projects?
Yes. That usually starts with a short code audit (see the "Code & Architecture Audit" service) so it’s clear what you’re taking on before timeline and price are set.
Are you available remotely, even outside Dresden?
Yes — most projects run remote anyway, for clients across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. An in-person meeting in Dresden is possible but not a requirement.
